Save the date
Clear your Sunday afternoon
GCA families, friends, and supporters are invited to our new campus for an afternoon of prayer, praise, and thanks for all God has done.
2026
One afternoon. A meaningful next step.
Plans for the afternoon
No construction experience required
We are planning a simple afternoon that puts God first and brings the GCA family together. The final order of events is still being confirmed.
Give thanks
We will praise God for His provision and for every blessing that brought GCA to this day.
Dedicate the ground
We will break ground with prayer and give this campus to the Lord and to His plan for it.
Build together
Spend time with GCA families and friends, and hear how you can help ready our new home.
Your presence matters. You are welcome whether or not you choose to give.
The people behind the purpose. Why this moment matters
Six years as guests, and now God has given us a home
Since 2020, Grace Christian Academy has grown as a guest of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Now, a portion of the former Hines Center property on Old Highway 54 is becoming a permanent home of our own.
We are transforming an existing building into classrooms and shared spaces where students can grow spiritually and academically through a Christian worldview.

Help us count the chairs
Let us know you are coming and how many you are bringing, so we can prepare a place for everyone.
A place to grow. A part for everyone.
A school gets built one desk at a time
From desks and whiteboards to the spaces we share, every gift helps equip the students God will send through these doors.

Before you join us
A few helpful details.
Have another question? We would be glad to help.
270-574-9974info@gcaowensboro.orgWhere is the celebration?
At GCA’s new campus at 5620 Old Highway 54. This is the former Hines Center warehouse property, not GCA’s current school location at Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
What should I know before arriving?
Please contact GCA before the event for arrival, parking, and accessibility information. The campus is a building being prepared for renovation, not an open school facility.
Is the new school already open?
Not yet. GCA is transforming the existing building into a permanent campus. Phase one is planned to make room for 250 students, with a target opening of August 2027.
Can I help even if I cannot attend?
Yes. Visit the new-campus page to explore giving opportunities, record a pledge, or ask about a sponsorship. You can also contact GCA directly to talk about how you would like to help.
